# Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to CompositeWorks licences promoted by CAD Projects and purchased through FastSpring.
## 1. FastSpring processes purchases and refunds
FastSpring acts as the merchant of record and reseller for CompositeWorks transactions. FastSpring processes payment, applicable taxes, invoices, refunds and chargebacks. Purchases are also subject to the terms presented by FastSpring at checkout.
To request a refund or obtain help identifying a charge, contact FastSpring through its buyer support portal at `https://fastspring.com/consumer-support/?fsprg=true`. You may also contact CAD Projects at `info@cadprojects.com.au`, quoting your FastSpring order reference, purchaser email and a description of the issue. We will assist with product and licence information and coordinate with FastSpring where appropriate.
Do not send payment-card details by email.
## 2. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
If CompositeWorks has a major failure, an eligible consumer may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. If a failure is not major, the supplier may be entitled to provide a remedy within a reasonable time. Other remedies or compensation may be available where required by law.
There is no fixed short notification period that removes statutory rights. Please contact us or FastSpring as soon as reasonably possible so the issue can be investigated.
## 3. Change-of-mind requests
Because CompositeWorks is digitally delivered and a 14-day trial is available before purchase, we do not generally offer refunds solely because you:
– changed your mind;
– no longer need the software;
– purchased the wrong product or platform without checking the published requirements;
– did not use the available trial to assess suitability; or
– experience a problem caused by an unsupported environment, third-party software, incorrect configuration or user data rather than a failure of CompositeWorks.
However, we may consider a change-of-mind request in our discretion, subject to FastSpring’s processes and applicable law. This discretionary policy does not affect statutory rights.
## 4. Before requesting a refund
For technical problems, please contact `info@cadprojects.com.au` and provide:
– your FastSpring order reference and purchaser email;
– your CompositeWorks, Rhino and Windows versions;
– a clear description of the problem and steps to reproduce it;
– relevant screenshots or error messages; and
– any troubleshooting already attempted.
We may offer troubleshooting, a corrected licence, repair, update or other appropriate remedy. You do not have to accept a remedy that is inconsistent with rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
## 5. Duplicate and unauthorised purchases
If you believe you were charged twice, charged an incorrect amount, or did not authorise a transaction, contact FastSpring promptly through its buyer support channel and notify CAD Projects. FastSpring may need to verify the purchaser and transaction details.
## 6. Approved refunds
Approved refunds are processed by FastSpring, normally to the original payment method unless otherwise required or agreed. Processing and bank-posting times can vary by payment method and financial institution.
When a full refund is issued, the associated CompositeWorks licence may be cancelled or deactivated. You must stop using the refunded licence and comply with the EULA.
