## 5. Overseas disclosure and processing

Some service providers, including FastSpring, Keygen, Hostinger and Google, may process or store information outside Australia. This may include the United States, the European Union and other countries in which those providers or their subprocessors operate.

Those countries may have privacy laws different from Australian law. Where required, we take reasonable steps appropriate to our relationship with the provider to protect personal information.

## 6. Cookies and analytics

The Website uses cookies or similar technologies for essential operation, security, preferences and audience measurement. In particular:

– **Hostinger** may use essential technologies and server logs to host, secure and operate the Website;
– **Google Analytics** collects information about Website visits and interactions to help us understand and improve Website usage;
– **embedded YouTube videos** may allow Google/YouTube to collect device, usage and cookie information when a page containing a video is loaded or when you interact with it; and

We do not use Google Ads conversion tracking, Meta/Facebook Pixel or another advertising pixel as at the “Last updated” date of this Policy.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect Website functionality. Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies.

## 7. Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping licence keys and account credentials confidential and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorised use.

## 8. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including licence administration, support, security, accounting, tax and legal requirements. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and applicable obligations.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it, unless retention is required or authorised by law.

## 9. Access and correction

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct inaccurate or out-of-date information. We may need to verify your identity. In some circumstances the law permits or requires us to refuse a request; if so, we will explain the reason where appropriate.

For payment and checkout information held directly by FastSpring, you may also need to contact FastSpring.

## 10. Marketing communications

You can opt out of our marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. We may still send non-marketing communications necessary to administer a licence, transaction, security issue or support request.
